Celebrate good times, come on! It's time to celebrate life, love and friendship. Things have been crazy, life moves fast and we need to take the time to stop, reflect and smile. Savor the moment and lick the frosting.
Leena made the BEST cupcakes! To the owner of the leather jacket that we spilled frosting on sorry-boutcha I tried to lick it off.
My little sister turns another year older. Love ya.
Last night we celebrated Jill's birthday. I'm still sore from dropping it like it's hot. Vittio-vixnen.
Meat cones.
And fried fish bones. They tasted like potato chips.
Puppy Crocs are totally acceptable. Finally Crocs that I can get down with.
Ciao for now.
Follow REBEL8 on Instagram. And Twitter. And while we're at it, our official Facebook.
White Menace pulled up in the new Live 105 whip we designed. Came out sick! If I don't say so myself.
Love the roof.
But the hood is the best! Thank you Live 105 for letting a girl bleeding from her eyes, middle-finger praying with an upside down cross tatted on her finger and FTW ride heavy on your new vehicle. This is gangsta'.
Mike posted his haircuts a few days ago. This is the original photo I took for his drawing.
And if you see me on the streets make sure you holler! Love meeting everybody that supports R8.
Happy Friday!
Would you get a tattoo from a guy with no tattoos?
Of course not. Real recognizes real.
Big up to all you REBEL8ers that recognize the realness. Fuck fake ass perpetrators!
Rifamos! Por vida! Believe it!
I just made this drawing for a group show that opens on Saturday night at Pretty Pretty Collective here in SF.
PPC is at 3290 22nd Street at Valencia. The opening is from 8pm to midnight. Hope to see you there! Should be a Hell of a party!
Joshy just added these posters to the store. They were printed by Peacock Visual Arts in Aberdeen, Scotland. All prints are signed and numbered in an edition of 90. They are printed on a heavy Fabriano watercolor paper and embossed with the printers peacock monogram. Half of the prints are available here, the other half went back to Scotland. These are for the collectors. Get 'em while they're hot!
The lovely Talisa Monet once again modeled for us. Sorry for the delay ladies! Spring '11 Womens is now for sale in our online shop.
Thanks Talisa! Hope you like.
I've been friends with Sal for years. Before that I was a kid, and a fan that was loyal to the Etnies SLB 23 shoe. If you have no idea who Sal Barbier is, do yourself a favor and Google him. He's a living skateboard legend to say the least.
Sal kickin' it with our very own Aisha back in '07 at the REBEL8 Magic booth in Las Vegas. Good times!
Nice socks. Peep Mike Giant's Juxtapoz issue gettin' background props. I think that issue debuted the exact same day I took this photo.
In 2008, Sal and I decided to split a booth at Magic's SLATE with his signature brand SLBarbier. That was the original REBEL8 logo.
That Magic was the windiest I've ever seen Vegas. Sal lost his hair.
And just a few days ago we released our REBEL8 x SLB collaboration capsule. STOKED.
For the first tee Giant and I decided to play off Sal's most popular graphic, a snake wrapped around a wrench. Giant made the snake tougher and had the wrench transform into a dagger cutting through the snake. I think it came out sick! For the front of the shirt, we made the iconic 23 into roman numerals and did the same for our 8. Took the same script from the wrench and voilà!
The second shirt is a hand breaking through the ground holding a wrench. It symbolizes Sal's comeback and REBEL8 "breaking through." We're not the most underground now and it really trips me out. I'm still adjusting. The one thing I can attest to is that when we started in '03, we did things our way and on our own terms with respect to all who showed it. Today that same ethos remains. And that quote on the bottom of the graphic is from the Gravediggaz. We're the resurrectors! The front of the shirt takes the same roman numerals and crosses two wrenches. This very well may be one of my favorite tees we've ever done.
I almost forgot about the hat we did. You'll have to click here to check it out. Hope you're having a wonderful day. Thanks for reading my blog.
I went out to Sacramento to party with Alpha & Omega a couple weeks ago. Shit got mad weird!
I guess Luis' Mama never told him he shouldn't play with roadkill. Idiot!

Four handsome ass men fucked up on that Mad Dog 20/20. The original retard juice. Fuck Four Loko!

Last night I had dinner with the Seventh Son/Skull and Sword posse. That's whats up!

I have a piece in this show that opens in SF on Saturday night.
Check it!
