REBEL8 has had three homes over the past 9+ years. The first was my studio apartment, 833 Divisadero St. This is where I'd spend literally 24-hours a day, everyday. The entire apartment was a 12' x 12' box. I used to ship orders on the street and alley, then end of day, bring all the boxes back inside just to do it again in the morning. When it started raining in '05 during our Fall/Winter shipping window, I had no choice but to make the move into our first warehouse.

In January of 2006 I moved into a real warehouse at 2415 Third Street. This is what our Spring/Summer '06 season looked like in its entirety. Over the next two years I shelved the entire space and filled it to capacity. I was the only REBEL8 employee until June 2007. I would pick, pack, ship orders, while making sales calls using one of those 1-800-Dentist headphone things. I handled the biz, independently, with no complaints, no regrets, all smiles, and an insane level of passion for what I was building. I felt nothing could stop me, and fortunately nothing did.

By December of 2007 we were moving into our current warehouse located at 1661 Tennessee which was 3x the size of the last. And over the next 5-years, REBEL8 grew  tremendously. Naturally this is not an updated photo of what the space looks like now, but I remember snapping this shot years ago thinking this place was massive.

And just today, I made the realization that our time is up in our current home. Who knows where we will move. At the end of day, if you put our warehouse anywhere on the map, we'd still be who we are, and sure as shit not be who we're not. What matters most to me is that REBEL8 continues and stays the path. The below photo pretty much sums up what our warehouse looks like now. Employees hopping over boxes to get to the bathroom, pallets on pallets on pallets, and not a one square inch of extra available space.

To all our beloved fans from as far back as 2003 and as most recent as right now, I want you to know how deeply thankful I am for your support. You've allowed me to live my dream each and every day. I dream about REBEL8 then wake up to do REBEL8. Seriously. And I want you to know that when you decide to buy a REBEL8 product and spend your hard-earned money in our online shop, you are supporting like-minded individuals who whole-heartedly give a fuck about the products we make and YOU, the people who buy them.

Forever grateful,

Joshy D.
