Painting with the Homeboys
At 8am yesterday morning I met my friends Abno and Owner on upper Haight Street to repaint these gates. It was an extra special occasion because all of us are from New Mexico! 505 up in this muhfucka!
The last time I painted this gate the store didn't open until noon. Yesterday it opened at 9am. I had barely gotten started when someone came to open the store. I was bummed, but what could I do? I guess the other stores opened earlier too, so all three of us were back at the spot at 7am this morning. I got mine finished just before the store opened.
